We were the catalyst for a cultural shift at a global membership organisation in the construction industry, reshaping their approach to change management and delivering numerous high-impact projects.
The client initially commissioned us to project manage two IT workstreams, but quickly realised that working with Catalysis was an opportunity to transform their strategic approach through structure and standardisation.
Our outsourced Project Management Office service provided the solution they were looking for, combining operational delivery with strategic leadership focused on quality and compliance.

Stepping in to deliver a major NHS intranet project

We specialise in working with SMEs, but bring wide-ranging experience that includes delivering change for large public
sector bodies.
A large NHS Trust commissioned Catalysis to manage the launch of a new intranet to serve its 6,000+ staff.
The Trust’s in-house communications team had awarded a contract to a specialist NHS web development agency to provide the new intranet platform.
However, the team lacked capacity to effectively manage the project alongside its other ‘business as usual’ internal and external communications responsibilities.
We were asked to project manage the launch of the new intranet site, acting as a link between the communications team, the Trust’s numerous clinical teams and support services, and the intranet developers to coordinate content and deliver the project on time.
Our key task was working with individual Trust teams to plan functionality and refresh intranet content. The content aspect presented a particular challenge due to the sprawling amount of legacy content that had built up on the old intranet over many years - requiring detailed work with teams to establish what remained relevant and ensure the accuracy of the new site.
As well as coordinating the build of the site, we also oversaw the quality assurance and testing process - a crucial aspect of ensuring clinicians had access to comprehensive and accurate information in order to deliver services safely and meet stringent NHS compliance expectations.
The project was delivered on schedule, with strong positive feedback from the Trust’s Head of Communications, who wrote:
